The Challenge
The Combat Diver Foundation (CDF) faced the challenge of increasing visibility, preserving a storied legacy, and rallying long-term support for its mission - building the nation’s first Combat Diver Museum. While the foundation had strong roots in the SOF (Special Operations Forces) community, it lacked a cohesive digital presence and visual brand that could amplify awareness, foster engagement, and mobilize donors at scale. CDF needed a content strategy and visual identity that could bridge military heritage with modern storytelling, unite a broad community of supporters, and promote fundraising efforts across platforms and events.
The Solution
To address this, Cazdin Creative developed a full-spectrum content and branding strategy rooted in historical preservation, storytelling, and audience connection. Through a unified content calendar and branded visual assets, the team brought structure, clarity, and consistency to CDF’s messaging across all digital channels. Four content pillars were created to support engagement and growth - Heritage & Legacy, Community Spotlights, Educational Content, and Events & Fundraisers. Cass managed all CDF social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, crafting and publishing mission-aligned content to reach veteran audiences, military families, historians, and diving enthusiasts. She designed original graphics, wrote copy, and built strategic campaigns that showcased Combat Diver history, honored community members, and promoted fundraising goals. Partnerships and raffles with veteran-owned brands further elevated visibility.
The Results
This brand refresh and strategic approach significantly strengthened the foundation’s public presence. CDF saw increased visibility across veteran, SOF, and military supporter audiences, along with boosted community engagement through storytelling, spotlights, and giveaways. Donor relationships and corporate partnerships were strengthened, directly supporting fundraising for the museum and other preservation projects. The organization now benefits from a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and social presence. CDF has become a recognizable voice within the military historical space - honoring the past while building toward the future.
